Introduced in 1974 by Andrew Bailey, Baileys is an Irish whisky and cream based liqueur. At present, Diageo owns the trademark to this magnificent drink. The ingredients include whisky, cream, chocolate, vanilla and sugar. It has an alcohol content of 17% ABV. It is usually consumed neat, on the rocks, or as part of a cocktail. It has a shelf life of 24 months and should ideally be stored between 5 and 35 degree C.
